It includes Ripley's resolutions for the new year, which I heartily recommend to you. Even though Ripley has already found himself cheating a bit on one of those resolutions...

He also has his usual eclectic collection of interesting items, including some interesting observations about "Francis Beeding," the pseudonym used by two Golden Age authors who wrote mostly espionage thrillers and a few detective novels. I really do have to move their Death Walks in Eastrepps up in my To Be Read pile...
