Another full day of mystery talk at Malice Domestic 28. Among the sessions today, this one really stood out:
A panel featuring all the guests of honor. From the left, Verena Rose (Malice chair and moderator); Douglas G. Greene (Amelia Award); Barbara Peters and Robert Rosenwald (Poisoned Pen Press and winners of the Poirot Award); Hank Phillippi Ryan (Toastmaster); Victoria Thompson (Guest of Honor); Katherine Hall Page (Lifetime Achievement Award).
The group spent an hour talking about some of the mail (and email) they get from readers - interesting, often wildly funny, occasionally poignant.
There was also a session late in the day discussing Sarah Caudwell and her books, moderated by the British mystery writer and historian, Martin Edwards.
Saturday, there will be panels all day, followed by a banquet, where the annual Agatha Awards will be presented.
