With little more than a month to go before this year's Left Coast Crime convention gets under way, organizers of the conference have unveiled a slate of nominees for the four major "Lefty" awards to be determined by conference attendees. The categories and nominations are:

The winners will be announced at the Left Coast Crime Awards banquet on May 27th. This year, the convention (dubbed "The Great Cactus Caper") is being held in Phoenix from February 25 through February 28. There's still time to register, and I hope to see a lot of my friends (that means you) there.
