We're now just over a month away from the start of Bouchercon 2015. For those who came in late, Bouchercon is the world mystery convention, largest annual conference of mystery authors and readers. This year's gathering is being held in Raleigh, N. C. October 8 - 11, and there's still time to register.
Aha, you say, but why register? Here are the reasons - the preliminary list of panel discussions and other events crammed into the four days of the conference. No matter what kind of mysteries you enjoy, you'll find plenty of other people who will be talking about them, whether you enjoy classic traditional mysteries, international thrillers, historical mysteries, hard-boiled Swedish noir (hey, I even see a session on "Jewish Noir" - oy!), serial killers, cozies, Sherlock Holmes...all here.
My wife and I are to be the emcees at one breakfast session that will feature new authors. These events are always well-attended. It's a great opportunity for readers to discover new talent and new books to read.
I hope some of you will be there - and will stop by and say hello!
