Regular visitors to this site probably know that I'm an Amazon Associate. What that means is that if you are buying something from Amazon (or its sellers) and you use a link from my site to get to Amazon, I get credited for your purchase. You pay nothing extra, but I get a surprisingly small percetage of the sale as a commission.
Amazon recently changed a lot of its older links so that they no longer work properly with this site. That's why I've changed the box (on the upper right hand side of the screen) to a new link. Amazon advertises more-or-less random items as "featured products" in the box, but if you simply click on the Amazon name, you'll be taken to their site and you can then order what you wish. It will be credited to me.
You should also know that I am a strong supporter of independent bookstores. I do hope that if you are looking to buy a new book, you will go to your local bookdealer to find it. If you are looking for older, used books - the basics on which my own library is built - then Amazon has a network of used book dealers; if your local dealer can't help, one of Amazon's dealers can. And if you are not looking for books but want to buy something else, by all means feel free to order it - through my link - from Amazon.
Again, it's not a big deal - I'm hardly likely to get rich on my royalties. But it does help to pay the expenses of maintaining the site. So know that your patronage is much appreciated. Thank you. We now return you to your regularly scheduled reading.
