Here's another good reason to go to Bouchercon, the oldest and largest of the world mystery conferences, this fall: Paul Doherty will be among the guests of honor. The festivities will be held in Albany, New York, September 19-22. I'm looking forward to meeting Professor Doherty and the other guests as well.
Don't think I'll be there this year, again, Les. But as always I'll be thinking of all the fun you'll be having and wishing I were there. I did attend one Bouchercon many years ago in Las Vegas - had a fabulous time.
I urge anyone who can attend to do so. It is a wonderful experience for any reader of mysteries and any book lover and/or collector.

I do wish you could come, Yvette. I've been to several Bouchercons now and enjoyed them all - and learned a lot about mysteries and mystery writing at each one. Great authors, interesting panels - if you were at the Las Vegas one, you know what I mean. I do recommend it heartily. And if you are NOT there, know that you'll be missed (and more than one drink will be consumed in your honor; reading and writing are thirsty tasks...)
