The Agatha Awards, honoring the traditional mystery and named for Agatha Christie, were handed out last night at the annual Malice Domestic conference. Congratulations to this year's winners:
- BEST NOVEL: Bury Your Dead, by Louise Penny
- BEST NON-FICTION: Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks, by John Curran
- BEST SHORT STORY: "So Much in Common," by Mary Jane Maffini, in Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine
- BEST YOUNG ADULT: The Other Side of Dark, by Sarah Smith
- BEST FIRST NOVEL: The Long Quiche Goodbye, by Avery Aames
